We have commissioned poet Hafsah Bashir, here seen at Tameside Archives with Rob Hillman (Archivist). She is using the archives of the borough for her work.

Hafsah and the archives

Hafsah is working on poetry and an exhibition about Oxford Mills in Tameside which burnt down in 2019. The project explores textiles, identity and place.
